New Smallworld NIS project in the USA launched

We’re happy to announce that Globema, in cooperation with GE, kicked off a new Smallworld Network Inventory project for an American provider of telecommunications infrastructure & services. The end customer operates worldwide and manages c.a. 20 million kilometers of fibers.

Our team will be responsible for:

Requirements alignment and analytical workshops

Migration from currently used solution to Physical Route Manager (PRM)

Implementation of data model changes in PRM

Smallworld Logical Network Inventory installation

Remote and on-site Smallworld trainings

Additional integrations between various systems

Our team also kicked-off an upgrade to version 5 of Smallworld Physical Network Inventory (along with PRM implementation) for a multi-utility operator from The Netherlands. The project covers upgrade of current database, migration of customer connection data into PRM standardized model, various trainings, additional support and more.
