GeoTask in the lab – how J.S. Hamilton improved the sampling process

We are proud to announce that J.S. Hamilton Poland – an accredited research laboratory – has been using GeoTask, our field service management tool since last September. J.S. Hamilton specializes in laboratory analyses of food, household chemistry, pharmacy, packaging and industrial goods, fuels and environmental samples (water, sewage, waste, soil). GeoTask supports the customer’s sampling, marking and delivery processes.

The challenge:

On average, there are several thousand samples taken every month by Hamilton employees. Each sample must be tested shortly after being registered and delivered to the lab – time is crucial here. Additionally, the tasks are usually geographically dispersed. Sampling and delivery processes must be perfectly planned and organized – there is no room for mistakes or delays.

The result:

Our collaboration began back in May 2019. Globema’s experts thoroughly analyzed Hamilton’s needs and customized GeoTask to handle their specific tasks and properly assign the necessary materials for sampling. Here’s how GeoTask supports the whole process:

  • The system covers the registration of end-customer inquiries
  • Arranges visits/appointments at the sampling points during the notification stage – that way, employee availability is used optimally
  • Automatically determines the materials and containers necessary for sampling during the notification stage – saving dispatchers/customer service workers time.

After a few months of testing, J.S. Hamilton started using GeoTask to manage the whole process of sampling food and environments for testing. It is now being used by several dozen field workers.

How is it working out for them?

GeoTask allows the inclusion of all key business processes in one system. It is perfect for supporting the planning and managing of sampling. It provides fieldworkers with a convenient mobile application that includes schedules and allows them to register their work progress. The system provides company managers with complete information about the efficiency and costs of samplings. GeoTask ensures the persistent management of fieldwork processes, resulting in improvements to customer service and satisfaction. Globema’s employees are exceptionally qualified and have proven their implementation skills, vast industry knowledge, and analytical skills of business processes.
